기대반 걱정반이었는데 어제 심사를 넣은 v1.0(4) 빌드도 반려됐다. 아래는 리뷰 담당자가 작성한 반려 사유 메시지 전문이다.

Your app still contains content or features that may violate the rights of one or more third parties. Specifically, your app provides potentially unauthorized access to third-party audio or video streaming, catalogs, and discovery services.

Your app and its contents should not infringe upon the rights of another party. In the event your app infringes another party’s rights, you are responsible for any liability to Apple because of a claim.

Next Steps

To resolve this issue, please attach documentary evidence in the App Review Information section in App Store Connect evidencing that you have all necessary rights or permissions to the third-party audio or video streaming, catalogs, and discovery services in your app.

Once we have reviewed your documentation and confirmed its validity, we will proceed with the review of your app.

지난번 반려 사유가 해결되지 않고 그대로란다. 정확히 어느 부분이 문제인지에 대한 구체적인 내용은 적혀 있지 않다. 다시 한번 Creative Commons, Public Domain 두 가지 라이선스에 문제가 없는지 확인해 봤는데 Public Domain 쪽이 문제의 여지가 좀 있어 보였다. https://publicdomainpool.org/en/copyright.html 페이지에 아래와 같은 문구가 있다.

각 사례별로 관련된 권리를 직접 조사해야 한단다. claude가 작성한 pdf 문서에는 이 내용이 빠져 있다. 심사 통과가 우선이라 Public Domain 라이선스를 제거하기로 결정했다. Creative Commons 라이선스는 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ 페이지에 출처만 밝히면 사용에 문제가 없다고 적혀 있다. 앱을 수정해서 출처를 명시하기로 했다. 이상의 내용을 정리해서 리뷰 담당자에게 아래와 같이 회신하고 답을 기다리고 있다.

My app uses the following two types of licenses:

- Public Domain recordings
- Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International

After reviewing the attached document myself, I found that “Public Domain recordings” may be problematic. According to the page https://publicdomainpool.org/en/copyright.html, it states that permission must be investigated individually for each case. Therefore, I will remove the two stations using the “Public Domain recordings” license from the app.

Regarding “Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International,” the page https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ states that it is acceptable as long as the source is properly credited. I will ensure the source is credited within the app.

I would appreciate it if you could advise me on any additional measures I should take.

 

RadioNOS 라이선스 담당자에게 이메일 문의

결론적으로 claude가 작성한 증빙 문서(pdf 파일)에 잘못된 부분이 많았다. 역시 claude는 코드 작성에만 사용해야겠다. 이 사태를 ChatGPT한테 물어봤더니 라이선스를 관리하는 곳에 메일을 보내서 확답을 받는 것이 제일 확실하다는 답을 줬다. 아래와 같은 메일 초안까지 작성해 줬다.

My name is Donggi Hahm, and I am an independent iOS developer based in
South Korea.

I am developing an iOS application called “Garibong Radio”, which
curates and streams
Creative Commons licensed internet radio channels for focus,
relaxation, and study purposes.

My app currently includes several RadioNOS channels that are clearly
indicated on your website
as Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licensed.

Apple App Store Review requires explicit confirmation from content
providers that their
live audio streams may be redistributed through third-party
applications, including
commercial mobile apps.

Therefore, I kindly ask for your confirmation of the following:

- That RadioNOS permits the redistribution and streaming of its live
radio channels
  through third-party applications (including iOS apps)
- That such use is allowed under your Creative Commons licensing policy

A short reply by email confirming this permission is fully sufficient.
If you prefer, you may also include a brief statement such as:

“RadioNOS authorizes Garibong Radio to stream and redistribute
RadioNOS live channels
through its iOS application.”
